"A true principle makes decisions clear even under the most confusing and compelling circumstances. It is worth great effort to organize the truth we gather to simple statements of principle." Richard G. Scott, “Acquiring Spiritual Knowledge,” Ensign, Nov 1993, 86
Principle Phrase: This is a sentence that contains a full lesson, a truth, its point, and application.(Try to keep it as ‘pithy’ as possible.)
Block: State the reference where you found it, it would be helpful to put the scripture. Highlight, bold, italicize the most important parts.
Application/Explanation: Teach us! In a paragraph or two help us see the full power of your simple statement of truth. Explain what it means. Share how you feel about it. Testify of what you have experienced in your life!
Quote (Optional but dig for one): Quote from the Brethren about this principle. Be sure to include references so we can go read the talk you pulled it from.
Question (Optional): Ask someone else out in the blogosphere what they think or a question that you have been throwing around in your mind.
Comment on others principles!
