Doubting Nothing
In Acts 10, Peter is praying and sees a vision in which he learns that the gospel is to be preached to the Gentiles as well as the Jews. He is pondering this vision when three men, the servants of the centurion Cornelius, arrive seeking Peter. In verse 20 he is commanded by the Spirit of the Lord, "Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them." I think the command to doubt nothing is significant. Because the spirit of the Lord speaks with a still, small voice we sometimes doubt whether it is a spiritual prompting or our own thoughts, and we hesitate to do good. When have a thought to do something good, we should doubt nothing and just do it. As long as it is a good thing, does it matter whether it is from the Spirit or from ourselves? We are commanded to be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and when we are, we are blessed (see D&C 58:27-28).

I truly enjoyed this post, sometimes I wonder if the real battle waging upon all our lives, are best fought with the simple means of the small promptings of the spirit. It is so amazing to me, how much good can be accomplished in my life when I don't question, and when I don't listen my complacency when these types of promptings come to mind.
Well I accidentally deleted my comment on accident so here is what I have left. :)
I like what you said- "When we have a thought to do something good, we should doubt nothing and just do it. As long as it is a good thing, does it matter whether it is from the Spirit or from ourselves?"
Sometimes I think we get so caught up in wanting a confirmation that a good feel is indeed from God before we act. In Doctrine and Covenants 11:12 it says "And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good- yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit."
Alma 5:40-41 "For I say unto you that whatsoever is good cometh from God, and whatsoever is evil cometh from the devil. Therefore, if a man bringeth forth good woks he hearkeneth unto the voice of the good shepherd, and he doth follow him..."
