How to Treat the Sinner: 2nd Corinthians

From our lovely video that we watched tonight, we saw the point of view of the young lady that was esperinceing worldly sorrow for her sins. We closed the night thinking if we were the fiance who she had to tell. What would you say to her, how would we treat her? Read the following scriptuers and lets find how we should treat them. (We should be careful to pass the judgement considering that we all play the part of the sinner at one time or another.) If the worldly consequences of sin or minimized by better treating the sinner I wonder if we could sooner get to godly sorrow.

How to Treat the Sinner:
2nd Corinthians 1:3-4
2nd Corinthians  2:7-8
2nd Corinthians 2:10-11
2nd Corinthians 3:3
2nd Corinthians 5:17-18
2nd Corinthians  5:20
2nd Corinthians 13:9

Read these and comment how we should treat them. Thanks for coming tonight great princples were share, I truly am grateful that you all show up so I can learn from you!

I really like 2nd Corinthians 2:4 when it says "that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble." I think this goes right along with the movie clip we watched. The girl needs to feel comfort at this difficult time and one way God helps comfort us is through others. The fiance can be that comfort she needs as she goes through the repentance process.
I also really liked 2nd Corinthians 5:20 when it says, "we are ambassadors for Christ." Looking at the footnote it says Luke 14:23 which says, "Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." This goes right along with how we should treat sinners. God wants everyone, no matter who they are, to come into His house and we should feel the same way. We should reach out to everyone (sinners or not) and be there to help them succeed.
